Manila, Philippines - UNTV CEO, Daniel Razon gives advice to women who might be caught in a situation where there is an attempt of rape, in the light of the latest news on the rape of "Florence", a volunteer nurse inside a hospital compound in South Upi, Maguindanao.

Concerned for the women's protection against rapists, Mr. Public Service Razon said, "Just in case a woman is about to be raped by a man, the first thing that she should do is to save the best of her strength, stay calm and don't panic, act as if you're not alarmed of what is happening. Then, position yourself in such a way that you can give the strongest blow or puch that you can throw to the culprit. Target the balls (eggs) in the man's genital or organ and blow it the hardest that you can, if possible, follow it up with another strongest blow."

Daniel Razon is the "Kuya" (Big Brother) in the "Pondahan ni Kuya", an episode in the Good Morning Kuya of the UNTV, a public service channel doing all forms of charity works, educating people how to be an asset to the society and giving their beneficiaries both their physical and spiritual needs.

"Women, as much as possible, should try to maintain presence of mind when confronted with rapists so they could think of a way to overcome them," Razon further said.

In a report from Michelle Robin of ABS-CBN, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said Monday, that the volunteer nurse may not have been gang-raped. According to said report also, only one DNA profile was found from samples taken from the volunteer nurse, which means there was only one perpetrator.

Also, the DNA profile did not match the samples taken from self-confessed rapist Melchor Fulgencio and the 6 men initially arrested by the local police.

Secretary Leila de Lima disclosed that the blood samples and oral swabs taken from six suspects first rounded up by local police turned negative when compared to the samples obtained from the vagina of the victim.
